- 15 Days Grand Cultural Tour To Explore Morocco From TangierDay 1 - Arrival To Tangier
Welcome to Morocco. Take a short city tour of Tangier. After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Medina.
Day 2 - Tangier – Chefchaouen
Today we continue our journey to Chefchaouen. On the way, we will cross the Rif Mountains and enjoy the amazing scenery that this range offers. In Chefchaouen, tour the city of blue and white lime-washed houses. We will then take you to a small local riad/hotel.
Day 3 - Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
After breakfast, depart for Fes to Moulay Idriss, an important religious site in Morocco. Afterwards, head to the Volubilis Archaeological Site, home to the best-preserved Roman ruins in this region of North Africa. (Registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997). Head to Meknes to visit the famous Bab El Mansour and Bab El Khamis Gates. Arrive in Fez in the late afternoon.
Day 4 - Fez guided tour
The day is dedicated specifically to Fez, one of the oldest imperial cities. Fez has been the capital of Morocco for over 400 years and is still considered the country's religious and cultural center. On the way to Merzouga we will have lunch in Midelt and drive over the Atlas Mountains and through the gorge of Ziz. The canyon is the result of the force of the Ziz River. Drive down Erfoud Road to Merzouga's famous sand dunes (Erg Chebbi), where you'll have dinner and stay overnight in a nomadic tent.
Day 6 - Merzouga – Todra – Dades Valley
Today we will watch the sun rise over the sand dunes of Merzouga before heading to Boumalung Dades. Pass Jorf and Tinjdad on the way to Tinghir. Explore Todra's Gorge. After lunch in a beautiful area, depart for Boumalen Dades where you will stay overnight.
Day 7 - Dades Valley – Ouarzazate
Early in the morning, depart for the Valley of Roses. After visiting this town, continue your journey to Ouarzazate, passing by the oasis of Skourahi on the way, visiting the famous monument Taurir Tokasbah (one of the most attractive and beautiful places he in southern Morocco). You will also have the opportunity to visit a film studio in Ouarzazate. These studios are known as Moroccan Hollywood. Overnight at a local riad/hotel.
Day 8 - Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Today we continue our journey to Marrakech, one of Morocco's four imperial cities. On the way to Marrakech, stop at the old Kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Then head to Marrakech. Along the way, you'll pass the highest road in North Africa. In Marrakech, spend the night and afternoon all to yourself at a local riad in the Marrakech medina.
Day 9 - Marrakech guided tour
Today, explore the city and visit the highlights of Marrakech: Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and El Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, visit the famous Jemaa el Fna square and its souks. After exploring Marrakech for a full day.
Day 10 - Marrakech – Agadir
Depart Marrakech and drive to the seaside resort of Agadir. You can spend the day exploring the city or resting on the beach. In the evening we will take you to a place to spend the night in Agadir.
Day 11 - Agadir – Essaouira
Today we continue our tour to Essaouira (called Mogador). Perfect for fishing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. The harbor is a delightful diversion filled with colorful boats lovingly decorated by local fishermen. we stay here for one night.
Day 12 - Essaouira – Casablanca
Today we continue our journey to Casablanca (the economic capital of Morocco). Take the coastal road to Casablanca and stop at Safi and El Jadida. Casablanca offers the program free of charge and allows you to spend the night discovering the city in a local hotel.
Day 13 - Casablanca – Rabat
Today we visit the highlights of Casablanca: Mohammed V Square, the Arab League Park and the magnificent Hassan II Mosque. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Rabat, his one of the four imperial cities. Visit the Tower of Hassan V (the minaret was started by his Almohad sultan Yacoub al-Mansour in 1195 and was intended to reach 60m, making it the largest and tallest in the Islamic world) . The town has Mediterranean-influenced buildings, including whitewashed houses with blue accents. Explore this beautiful whitewashed town overnight in a small local riad.
Day 15 - Assilah -Tangier
After breakfast, return to Tangier. Visit some interesting places and transfer to the port or airport before your scheduled departure.
